Classic Wish Passes | Standardbred Canada
Today is a sad day in Winbak Farm history. Last night the U.S. Harness Racing Hall of Fame and Canadian Hall of Fame mare, Classic Wish, passed away during foaling. She gave birth to a Somebeachsomewhere colt. The colt survived and is doing well.
Classic Wish earned $436,000 and was time-trialed in 1:52 during her race career. After her retirement from the racetrack, she came to Winbak Farm and had her first foal, Bettors Delight, the 2000 Breeders Crown Winner and 2001 Little Brown Jug winner.
